Extended Family Portraits - Sonoma County

Family reunions are always special occasions, bringing together relatives from near and far to catch up, share stories, and make new memories. One of the most memorable moments of any reunion is the family photo session, which captures the love, joy, and togetherness of the occasion. Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing a huge family reunion during golden hour, and it was so fun!

Set in the hills above Santa Rosa, this property was so perfect for week of fun and of course a beautiful family photo. One of the kids even caught his first fish ever as I set up for a big group. It was great that everyone was there is witness. Everyone cheered and laughed as he reeled it in. It wasn’t small either! Probably a 15 pound trout!

By the time we finished the session, the sun had set, and the sky was painted with vibrant oranges, pinks, and purples. The family was happy, and I could tell that they were grateful for the opportunity to capture these special moments. As I said goodbye and packed up my equipment, I felt grateful too, for the chance to be a part of such a wonderful reunion and to witness the love and togetherness of this incredible family.
